ABOUT THE COLLABORATION CENTER

(formerly Documents Room Library)

Looking for a place to practice a presentation or work with friends on a group project? Information Services' new Collaboration Center, located in the former Documents Room Library, offers flexible space and comfortable furniture for students to work in small groups or by themselves. The room also features new furniture and partitions on wheels to make the space easily reconfigurable.

One of the purposes of the Collaboration Center is to provide a place for people to try out different pieces of technology. Currently the center features three interactive Smart Boards for students, faculty, and staff to use.

The center also houses the resources of the former Documents Room Library, including books, magazines, training CDs and DVDs, and some licensed software. Anyone is welcome to use the collection and borrow materials. Simply show us a current UO ID card or other piece of identification, such as a driver's license.

The Collaboration Center is located in 175 McKenzie Hall.
